It has also been called 'visual collaboration' and is a type of groupware.Video conferencing (also known as web conferencing) allows groups of people who are physically remote to communicate using video and audio links.
Video conferencing can save alot of time and money on travel plus communication verbally is still very effective whilst using this type of technology.
